Welcome to my Dance World! I have lived most my life in Somerset and danced lots as a child which is when it all began!
In my teens I was awarded a scholarship at my local dance school and it was soon after I decided I wanted to perform professionally so off I went to Bristol College of Dance followed by Laine Theatre Arts studying Dance & Musical Theatre.
Upon entering the professional stage I started by dancing in international Hair & fashion shows performing at Corporate events, followed by dancing on the sets of Bollywood movies then on to 6 Cruising contract where I was lucky enough to visit 30 different countries!
My first cruise I put my vocal training to good use and was employed as a singer.
Also on board I taught the passengers from all nationalities various styles of dance which I absolutely loved!
In 2011 I came back to the UK, and after lockdown I started growing my Dance business Danceanna.
From themed workshops to working at schools and festivals to choreographing various performances and Wedding First Dances I have loved it all. The variety keeps life exciting and my ladies dance classes are close to heart and in my busiest week iβve taught over 50 ladies to dance!
Dancing brings so much happiness to peoples lives and I get to experience this every week!
Since living in Somerset I have choreographed various award winning pantomimes which have all been brilliant experiences teaching all ages, abilities & genres.
Priscilla Queen of the Dessertβ was one of my favourites to Choreograph for Glastonbury and Street, Musical Comedy society - the society which introduced me to the stage as a child!
Other musicals include Legally Blonde, Annie, Matilda, Adams family to name a few.
